The UvA Open Science Day will be held on Saturday 5 October 2024 from 12:00 to 17:00 at Science Park in Amsterdam. As in previous editions, we will once again exhibit our microbiome-themed Virtual Reality game to the visitors as well as a small lab setup (including tomato in aeroponics, petri dishes with plant roots and AMF, and microscopes) to teach children about the microbiome and its importance to society and our food production. Entry is free, anyone between the ages of 6 and 106 is welcome!
